Memoir Mondays

Memoir Mondays are free one-hour creative writing sessions designed for seniors, but open to all, who want to share memories to leave as a legacy for family and friends. Do you have stories you want to share but you aren’t sure how to get started? These sessions are perfect for you! Volunteers will provide writing ideas to help you get started. You can write in response to that suggestion or write about something else that inspires you. At the end of the session, participants are welcome, but not required, to share their writing with others.?

Memoir Mondays are presented weekly throughout the county. New locations will be added in 2025. The prompt changes monthly, so each location will write to the same prompt during that month. In the event of a holiday or a fifth Monday, no labs are scheduled. The location schedule is:

• First Monday of the month: Scandia Village, Sister Bay?AND?Aging & Disabilties Resource Center, Sturgeon Bay
• Second Monday of the month: Rutledge Room, Community Center, Washington Island
• Third Monday of the month: Write On, Door County, Fish Creek
